Who does the writing?

If Google and the rest of the search engines trust you and they respect the content you produce, you’ll climb the search rankings. There’s no shortcut to ranking on the first few pages of the search results. Search engines don’t trust your website at first. You have to earn their trust – and it’s a slow process. Change the titles on your least successful pages twice a year. Why? Because obviously those titles weren’t helping your least successful pages. Set up a Google Alert for your company name. Any time your business is mentioned across the web, contact the webmaster, thank them, and ask them nicely to include a link. A page’s speed is crucial, so don’t forget testing it from time to time. From heavy images to unnecessary scripts, there is always a reason that your site gets slow.. Keyword research is one of the most valuable things you can do to obtain and maintain high search engine rankings and promising SEO results. For most small businesses, a keyword combination contains usually three or more targeted words that describe what you do.

Cherish the more competitive terms in your buckets

Write a good, high-quality blog post and reach out to other blogs in your company’s industry, asking to have your blog post published on their blog. When asking, it is important that you mention the value that your blog post will bring. Even with more and more consumers using their mobile devices to search and browse the web, there are some companies that still focus all their marketing and SEO efforts to desktops and choose to ignore their mobile customers (or just don’t realize how mobile their customers really are). Without on page optimization of your content which talks about your website, there will be less chances of your website getting authority leading to, you missing out on traffic. If you lack on-page optimization, there are less chances of you getting notice, which will again lead to low conversion rate. On page SEO deals with making sure Google can find your web pages so they can show them in the search results, as well as making sure you have relevant, detailed, and helpful content to the search phrases you’re trying to show up for. Website owners used to litter their content with tons of keywords in order to rank higher on Google. Now, the search engine penalizes for those practices.

Include a question (and answer) in your content

You may not be familiar with Schema mark-up, however it’s increasingly important and can do wonders for certain site’s visibility. Is the page load time excessive? Too long a load time may slow down crawling and indexing of the site. Website owners all want their content to be placed at the top of page one of search results. This is because very few website searches ever go beyond page one of results. There are many reasons why SEO is an important part of your marketing strategy. At one time, directories like DMOZ were a good place to add listings and get backlinks. However, these large web directories aren’t really relevant anymore. The true answer of whether social plays a role in search rankings may not always be written out in black and white. But you can leverage social to win at SEO. That part is crystal clear.

Understanding the rationale behind sitelinks

We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "A site that hasn’t done its keyword research is like a car driving in the dark down between two points. Keyword research is a constant and has been and still is a cornerstone of SEO. Do it before you do anything else!" Since search engines focus more on the initial words of the titles, make sure you add your keywords at the start of your title tag – this will help you rank better. Standard SEO advice is to keep the site architecture as flat as possible, to minimize clicks from the home page to important content. Do not go off the deep end, though; too many links on a page are not good for search engines either. Have you ever wondered why Google.com delivers different results for a user in the US than for a user in Germany? The days of buying, selling, and trading links for rankings is long gone…and if you try to bring it back, you will be long gone as well.

Use your key phrases in as many URLs as possible

You can no longer present less information on your mobile site than on your desktop site. Your content has to be the same on both, because, in the future, you can only rank on the information that is on your mobile page. Duplicate content can appear on a website for different reasons. Sometimes the same content is accessible and indexed under different URLs. This makes it difficult for search engines to determine the best search result among the different URLs. The result is “cannibalization” in the rankings. The website cannot appear in top rankings since Google is unable to choose the best version. The algorithm responsible for taking the world’s information and organizing it into (usually) 10 entries is, as you likely know, complicated. If you have large sections of duplicate text page-to-page – that is a problem that should be targeted and removed. Stuff every blank space in the digital world with tons of unsaturated- keywords-loaded-irrelevant or relevant content and you get a backdoor entry straight to the destination, this was the story a couple of years back, now it has changed. Now you have nothing but just good content to prove your brands worth to the search engine.

Who does the writing?

If you don’t want to spend any money on a keyword tool, you can simply google the keyword you want to rank for. Does your site ‘fit in’ with the results Google shows you? Or are the sites on the results pages much larger or more well-established than your website? Some users might link to your page using the URL of that page as the anchor text. If your URL contains relevant words, this provides users and search engines with more information about the page than an ID or oddly named parameter would. Consider dropping a link back to your main website in any other websites you may be running. Using one business platform to increase exposure for another is just a good idea, even if you don’t happen to be getting much traffic at those other websites. Create a list of the top 10 keywords for which you want to achieve rankings. Do a search once a month on Google and see where you stand in the rankings. Keep a record of the ranking and you will be able to see the progress of your SEO efforts. Note jumps by more than five places in the ranking, because these changes are not usually due just to normal changes and search engine updates. A lot of people think of link reclamation as just 301’ing pages they have moved that still have a lot of great backlinks.
